History of Nadi Astrology
Nadi Astrology, also known as Nadi Jyothidam, is an ancient and divine system of astrology believed to have originated thousands of years ago in Tamil Nadu, India. It was created by the enlightened Siddhars — spiritual sages like Agathiyar, Vasishtar, Brighu, and Sukar — who, through divine vision, recorded the past, present, and future of countless souls on sacred palm leaves (Olaichuvadi). These palm-leaf manuscripts, later preserved in Vaitheeswaran Koil, the holy abode of Lord Shiva, form the foundation of today’s Nadi astrology. Passed down through generations of astrologers, each leaf is matched to an individual’s thumb impression, revealing their destiny with astonishing accuracy.
